Tyre pressure must be kept within the manufacturer guidelines, as over or underinflated tyres can cause bulging or cracking in the tyre, as well as serious damage to your vehicle.

It is important to regularly check your tyres, to ensure they are above the legal tread requirement of a minimum 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tyre.

Regularly checking for punctures can help to catch them earlier, allowing us to repair with sealants and avoiding full replacements.

If your tyres need to be realigned do not delay it, as misaligned tyres will causeuneven wear, shorten the tyre lifetime and compromise the safety of the vehicle.

On average the front tyres will need replacing more frequently than the rear, with the life expectancy of 20,000 miles for the front, and nearly double that at 40,000 milesfor the rear.
